last night's dinner
I figured I had to show you what became of those beautiful eggplants, zucchini, and tomatoes. I received a package from my Aunt last night, with a beautiful new skillet. So in everything went…
The veggies were cooked in olive oil and a little garlic, served over pasta with lots of fresh basil and Parmesan cheese. Oh, and a glass of red wine too. Thanks Aunt Kathi!

My friend Suzanne dives into the Atlantic Ocean in Point Lookout, NY. We spent a great day with her on the beach, cooling off in the ocean and playing in the waves. I’ve been back in California for two weeks now, and I’m still remembering my trip back east. These two oceans, the Atlantic and the Pacific play an important role in my life. I am from NY, where I was born on Long Island....
prospect park
Walking through Prospect Park, I was struck by the beauty of the arches. There are lots of historic arches (stone bridge like structures) to walk through while experiencing the park. The materials are earthy and built to last. My friend Kenny remarked that these are the types of things we should be investing in and building today. I think he has a great point.
